As a privately-owned company we want to thank you for being a loyal Bartenfelder customer, we value your business and patience during this unprecedented time. 

 

We constantly search for ways to maximize the value of the services we provide while understanding the need to keep costs down to operate efficiently. Fuel prices continue to be volatile in our industry and while we have made attempts to resist seeking relief, they have placed an undue burden on our company. Due to this situation, we can no longer continue to absorb these increased costs. We have determined that a fuel surcharge must be added to all accounts. We felt as if by implementing a surcharge, and not increasing our rates significantly more, we will be able to eliminate the extra fees when the fuel prices start to subside. We have explored many options on the best way to implement this fuel surcharge – and remain competitive in the marketplace. 

 

We feel as if our fuel surcharge is well below the fees of other major competitors in the industry and we want you to know we work hard to avoid extra fees. We do not charge environmental fees and/or tack on other miscellaneous administrative charges.

After careful review, effective July 1, 2022, we will be implementing a fuel surcharge to your invoice. This rate is customized to your individual invoice, please see our breakdowns below.  

 

Please note if you have payments scheduled through your bank you will need to adjust the payment amount to the amount shown on your invoice. 

 

We remain hopeful that over time fuel prices will stabilize and begin to come down. We pledge to pass along those savings to you by eliminating this surcharge when that time comes. We thank you for your continued support throughout these ever-changing and challenging times.
