To Our Fellow Neighbors, Family, and Friends:

We don’t need to tell you that we are living in unprecedented times where everything is unpredictable. The past year and a half, many of us have struggled both personally and professionally while trying to stay safe and thrive during the global pandemic. We like to think that Bartenfelder Sanitation Service, Inc. is an integral part of our community, and we value nothing more than our customers and hard-working employees. For those reasons, we find it necessary to make the following announcement:

For the first time since starting this journey in 2010, we will not be accepting new single subscription residential customers effective September 1st, 2021, until further notice.

While we find it extremely frustrating to turn away new customers in need of a vital service, it has been challenging to hire new staff, and we have suffered many delays in receiving new equipment, along with supplies from our regular vendors. Our routes have not only reached maxed capacity but are overloaded causing our employees to work long hours. We must take into consideration our current customers and being able to continue providing the level of service they deserve, while allowing our employees time-off to spend with their own families.

For the time being we will be opening a waitlist for new customers. As we can accommodate new customers into our routes, we will contact whom is on our waitlist. We would like to thank everyone for making Bartenfelder Sanitation Service, Inc. the only trash business to stay locally owned and operated in Harford County for over 10 years. We are now on our 11th year in business and are looking forward to many more years to come!
